Christmas enewsletter out nowmerry christmas!
Here we are, reaching the end of another year. Where did 2008 go? I'm not sure either.
2008 has been a big one for deadline - lots of interesting projects and new faces. An exciting announcement is that we have started working with a great South Australian company, Hickinbotham Homes.
Recently we held our first seminar
'put some spring in your web strategy'. Judging from comments, attendees found the SEO information most useful. More information (and some pics) are available
here. If you could not attend the seminar but would like to speak with
Sean about either SEO or Web 2.0/3.0 please contact him.
I attended the Women Chiefs of Enterprise National Conference at Parliament House in Canberra in late October. The programme was full of successful women business owners sharing their thoughts on what it means to be an entrepreneur. I enjoyed hearing from Senator Christine Milne; Maureen Jordan, Publisher, Ms Entrepreneur; Sue Murray, CEO, National Breast Cancer Foundation; and Tonia Shand, One of Australia's first female Ambassadors.
To celebrate the end of the year, the deadline team will be embarking on an adventure led by our client and friend, Duncan Chessell. While some wanted to climb Mount Everest apparently that involves shared mountain tents, using an ice axe and mountaineering training, none of which I'm keen on - so we will be attacking the tough peaks at Morialta Falls instead and enjoying a well-earned dinner at The Summit Hotel afterwards.
Have a wonderful Christmas and New Year and we look forward to catching-up in 2009. One good outcome of the global financial crisis is that Father Christmas may have to put any retirement plans on hold, for at least another year.....
The Deadline office will be closed from 5pm on Monday December 22 and will open again on Monday January 5. Should you need anything urgently during that period, please contact Sean on
